Born in Sydney, Susan Baird studied Graphic Design in Sydney and drawing and painting in New York.
However, her artistic work has developed out of a principally self-taught tradition.
Her career has centred around practical exploration of painting medium and significant amounts of travel.
Capturing the quintessential spirit of Australia since 1984, Baird’s work has featured in several solo and group exhibitions, as well as being represented in corporate and private collections both here and overseas.
